HKDRC 40^th Green Half Marathon and SEAM 10K Run 2017 – 5 November 2017

As of 31 August 2017, ie 3 weeks from the start of online registration, we received enthusiastic support from the participants, especially the foreign nation runners. Over 350 entry applications are registered which include 4 teams of 4 runners.

Of 350 registered runners, a total 19 foreign nations runners and they come from :-

The HKDRC 40^th Green Half Marathon and SEAM 10K Run 2017 are opened for ONLINE APPLICATIONS. The entry quota for Half Marathon is 1200 and the entry quota for 10K Run is 400.

The HKDRC 40^th Green Half Marathon and SEAM 10K Run 2017 is an environmental race, the course is “Zero Carbon Emission “( traffic free ) which provides a chance for you to experience its differences from others

The entry applications can be made either :-

1. By online registration through www.hkdrc-race.com ( Effective Now )
2. By post : HKDRC G.P.O. Box 10368, Hong Kong (Download entry form www.hkdrc.org)

The entry fee for each application is $250.- You are advised to submit your entry applications as early as possible. The time limit for your completion the run is 2hrs 30mins.

We will give out 6 items of sustainable souvenirs include Vest, Towel, Finisher Medal, Planter, Perskindol Relief Pain Gel Pack, Salonsip Gel Patch, and Gift Bag for each participant. In addition, Shuttle Bus services are provided ( optional at $20.- ) for transport participants to the race venue.      

Iban Sports Ltd., using Btag timing system for recording of race results. Certificate for Hong Kong Green Runner 2017 with your finished position and time duly endorsed by us and the sponsors can be issued upon request.

The fastest 10K Run at 32mins 31sec. by Nad Ckel was recorded in this course in 2014.

The fastest Half Marathon at 1hr 9min 45sec by Gobinda Rai in this course in 1985.     

Some activities will be included in the race venue on the race day :-

- Sign up for joining HKDRC as a member for 2018

Participants who submitted application by online registration are advised to download a RUNNER’S GUIDE (RG) from our web site www.hkdrc.org Complete the RG with your assigned race number, entered division and selected bus station bring it in person to collect your runner’s pack at the RACINGTHEPLANET極地長征 shop at address “ RacingThePlanet Ltd., 22/F., 148 Wing Lok Street, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong “ in between 21 – 30 October 2017.

香港長跑會 第40屆綠色( 大尾篤 )半馬拉松及SEAM 10公里跑 ( 2017年11月5日 )現已接受網上報名。半馬拉松及10公里跑之參賽名額分別是1200及400。

自2017年8月8日網上報名生效至今，收到大量參賽者熱誠支持特別是外籍運動員，已登記超過350名運動員參賽，當中包括 4 隊4人組合隊伍。

350名登記參賽者，有來自19 個不同國藉運動員：-

香港長跑會 第40屆綠色半馬拉松及SEAM10公里跑是有名的環保賽，賽道是綠色” 零碳排放 ” 已取得香港各政府部門支持及協助，於賽事進行期間由新娘潭路起至烏蛟騰，鹿頸全線封閉禁止所有車輛行使，而路線只限開放給參賽者使用。參賽者可以藉此機會盡量發揮爭取個人最佳的成績。

申請報名參賽可循下列途徑：

• 郵寄報名 – 香港長跑會 郵政信箱10368 號 ( 可自www.hkdrc.org 下載報名表 )

參賽者報名費用為250元，本會鼓勵有興趣參加的運動員盡早報名登記參賽。本賽事給參賽者完成賽程時間是2小時30分。

本會籌辦是次賽事工作將全面邁向綠色及低碳方式，當中派發給每位完賽者 6款可持續及重用紀念品包括背心，毛巾，環保植物，紀念獎牌，普施健舒緩肌凝膠，撒隆適清涼滲透膏貼及禮物袋。除此以外，更於港，九4個指定巴士站提供巴士服務( 費用$20-) 接載參賽者前往賽場。

本賽事聘用Iban Sports Ltd採用 BTag 計時系統 – 紀錄優勝運動員成績及全場參賽者成績。應參賽者要求，本會將免費發給每位完賽者成績證書，認可為 “ 香港綠色運動員 “。

本會紀錄得最快的10公里時間紀錄 “ 32分31秒 “ 由Nad Ckel於2014 年所創。

本會紀錄得最快的半馬時間紀錄 “ 1小時9分45秒 “ 由Gobinda Rai 於1985 年所創。

附設於本賽事當天賽場活動包括：-

• 由T5 Lab 示範 Underfuse Pocket
• 登記參加長跑會成為2016年會員
• 長跑會售賣以折扣價紀念品

參賽者經網上，電郵或郵寄報名後均需要自本會網頁www.hkdrc.org 下載 ”參賽者須知 ” ，填寫編配的號碼，參加組別，選擇乘坐的巴士站。於指定日期內 ( 2017年10月21-30日 )， 攜帶” 參賽者須知 ”前往RACINGTHEPLANET極地長征 – 店舖地址 “ RacingThePlanet Ltd., 香港上環，永樂街 148號，22樓。領取參賽者物品包及特別禮物。
